Why do freelancers fail?

As freelancing is growing and popular all over the world amidst unemployment, people are beginning to express their views on the pros and cons of working freely. In Pakistan, the buzzword has become a sensation again. A number of public and private programs are being initiated to teach private subjects. Sadly. many still believe that, Freelancing does not work. Let’s take a look at the reasons why freelancers fail ?.

There may be many reasons for this recognition but I would like to take just a minute to talk about promoting why everyone should try their hands at independent digital work and offer their services in the market and make money.

Growth Vision:

In August 2021, according to MOIT (Ministry of IT and Telecom), Pakistani technology exports were recorded at $ 224 million. Exports in the same month last year were $ 124. This is more than an 80% increase and predictable increase in the same month next year. In the current financial year, IT exports accumulated more than $ 2 billion and the same amount was recorded at $ 1.44 billion last year (2019-20 financial calendar).

Freelancers have played a major role in organizing these amazing IT deployments. Independents from the Digiskills program alone have raised more than $ 200 million to date. This gives us a clear indication that Freelancing is good and effective for everyone.

Financially sound for beginners (up to 2 to 5 years). You have to have skills in communication skills and business development skills.

The reason why you do not meet is that you may have excellent technical skills but fail in communication and business development. The art of marketing is ART!

The reason why people fail (the majority) is because:

1. Lack of timely discipline (You should allocate certain hours per day in different markets by bidding, customer search).

2. Impatience (You compete with the best so be patient. Now, if you have good communication skills, your job becomes much easier).

BUT, wait a minute ...

You think freelancing doesn't work because you can't find buyers who want to buy your services. The real pain is, how do you get those customers you want?

A true reflection of the tragedy of freelancing is that, when people fail to find clients who want to rent their services, they stop.

What is the solution?

The answer is simple. To make freelancing work over time with the best return on investment (time and money), change the way you work.

What about getting clients to come to you directly instead of looking for them?

My suggestion is that, along with the free Hustle, do this ...

Create a website, advertise Google with independent keywords.

Create presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin.

Talk about your work regularly. Be consistent. This requires patience but once it starts, the sky is over.

Examine the many sources of income.

Think about membership in the same skill set you offer as a freelancer.Think blog + Youtube (both show great results next to each other).

Consider the product (expand service options).

Go First, create jobs, grow extra.

What they see is what you show them. You better make a good show!

In this program, do not underestimate the importance of integrating a solid site into various social media platforms.
