Fiverr is one of the largest Freelance markets in the world. Receiving orders on Fiverr depends on creating an attractive GIG that receives orders. While freelancers ignore small details when doing a GIG, they doubt the value of spending time on Fiverr. If you are a freelance freelance worker at Fiverr and you are wondering why I did not get orders from Fiverr, here is what you are probably doing wrong.
As an independent freelancer for almost two decades, the one question I was often asked was 'Sir, why didn't I get orders from Fiverr?'
I will explain everything that is most important, overlooked, or perhaps overcrowded that leads to a lack of order in your Gig.
1- Lack of English / Communication Skills:
Your Gig is your resume and may not have major English errors such as:
"I deliver a high quality performance service with 100% missile accuracy.
“I have worked on 200+ projects in many other markets. I'm a champion so please don't confuse my skills. ”
"Before you order - Please talk to me and provide details of your project"
"I'm so much better, you're trying - I'm bringing it"
Choose me better if not your loss.
You need a job, don't be afraid - Raj is here.
As for English errors and communication, I could go a long way - but, I'll stop here. An native English-speaking client will not listen to such Gigs and move on to the next Gig to place their order.
What is the solution?
I understand, English is not your first language if you are Asian but at least, someone can try to improve it. One of the best ways to improve English is to read a lot of English books, watch TV, and talk to someone in English. With practice, you will get better. I highly recommend using a free Grammarly widget that can be downloaded from your browser. Identifies spelling errors in your writing, and identifies your content tone as well.
2- Your price does not make sense:
$ 5 for 2 hours — that's $ 2.50 an hour. $ 40 for 10 hours — that's $ 4 an hour. If the order is large, the price increases per hour. This is not an attractive price. You have to understand, the price has to be standard.
3- Stop bragging:
If your Gig is about you, how happy you are, how excited you are to get a new order and wait for a response, or maybe, you are new to Fiverr but have 10 years of experience. All this does not work, stop doing this!
Instead. move focus to client. Tell them what you can do for them.
In my opinion, the three elements above are very important in creating an attractive Gig. Summary again to you.
Clean English. Also, use the Grammarly widget.
Enter a reasonable price plan. Do not charge at will.
Explain what you can do for the client.
You Should Also Do This:
1. Customize your description of the Gig. Spend some time looking at what others have done to their Gig. Good Gig is friendly, to the point, short, uses appropriate sections and key tags. It is very important to separate keywords when creating tags
2. Create all Gigs you may be eligible for. This is sound, basic advice. The more Gigs you have, the more chances you have of getting an order. What is the point of not using this offering?
3. Create similar Gigs with slightly different types of services. It is often noted that when one Gig is sold, others have already begun to climb. Having more Gigs with a specific keyword tag helps you get more orders. A specific keyword tag will help the seller properly validate that term.
4. Promotion is very important. This is what you call 'dirty work' and you should spread the word about your gig. You can do it through word of mouth ad, using social media, email promotion.
Delivery provided to customer requests:
Consumer supply is similar to projects posted on Upwork on Guru. Client submits project for Fiverr freelancers to set a deal.
If consumers do not get what they want from Gig, they send a buyer gift. If your Gig matches the title of the offer, you see the offer request and you can respond directly.
For example, if a client asks for 20 project video evidence, you provide video proof to your Gig, you will see a Gig (donation) request from the client.
Note:Misuse of the consumer request feature by advertising your services as a merchant leads to your account being suspended (disabled)
